Star Chart AR offers users the opportunity to explore the Earth in Augmented Reality from the convenience of their mobile phone screens, providing a real-time experience that brings the world to life.

*Requires ARKit compatible device to access AR Modes*

The features of Star Chart AR include:

• AR Earth: Witness the beautiful real-time rendering of Earth for AR viewing
• AR Orrery: Delve into the solar system, which encompasses the sun, planets, major moons, dwarf planets, asteroid and kuiper belts, and major asteroids (accessible via an in-app upgrade)

To fully appreciate Star Chart AR, ample space and sufficient lighting are recommended. Ideal settings include outdoor spaces for maximal scaling or a sizeable clear tabletop for reduced scaling.

To utilize the app effectively, perform a circular motion with your device while focusing on the desired surface for detection. An overlay will then surface on the recognized area, fading after a brief moment. Proceed to tap to place the AR object on the selected surface.

The controls consist of:

• Tap to place the AR object
• Pinch to scale the AR object
• Two-finger tap to navigate back

*Compatible with ARKit supported devices: All iPhone models starting from iPhone 6s, iPhone SE, and above are compatible. Additionally, all iPad Pros and the standard 2017 iPad model are supported.*
